On Tuesday February 5, the members of FBLA attended the district leadership contest at Calvary Temple in Fredericktown. The FBLA members competed against other nearby schools in business related events. They completed written tests and projects prior to the event and competed in role plays or presentations at the conference.

They had a successful day. The students scoring in the top three places were Hannah Chard received 2nd in Business Math, Emily Hayes received 2nd in Intro to Business Communication and 3rd in Business Math, Ian Perry placed 2nd in Cyber Security, Doug Anderson placed 2nd in Digital Design and Promotion. In partner events, Doug Anderson and Jessica Hill received 2nd in Marketing and Emily Hayes and Michaela Hulsey placed 3rd in Desktop Publishing.

In addition to this, Hannah Chard, Emily Hayes, and Ian Perry all qualified to compete in the State Leadership Conference this April in Columbia, Missouri.
