Central Homecoming

Cadence Wright, Writer

Homecoming is finally near! Homecoming is always and amazing time, specifically here at the high school. This year’s theme is “Decades.” With the help of Student Council and the Homecoming Prep committee, the school has prepared a week of fun dress up days before Homecoming Day; everyone is encouraged to participate and have show some  school spirit! Homecoming Day is a day that consists of 0% work and 100% school spirit and fun. The main event here on campus are the Homecoming carnival which consists of tailgating out in the parking lot, student contests (the barbecue competition and doughnut eating challenge are two staples), the class scavenger hunt, teacher vs. student games, and attractions like the inflatable obstacle course. Tailgating is an incredibly fun activity, students simply hang out and do whatever. The grilling contest, which is always a huge hit with the student body, is great fun, so you better come hungry. Also, various clubs will have sales and activities around campus, so be sure to check out all that CHS has to offer. Have fun and GO REBELS!
