Central Mourns the Loss of Mr. Logan

“We all die, the goal isn’t to live forever, the goal is to create something that will.”-Chuck Palahniuk.  It’s sad to announce that part of our Central family, Mr. Logan, has passed away. Students and staff are left heartbroken and grieving over his death. Mr. Logan was born on March 8th, 1984 and died unexpectedly on February 13th, 2021.

Mr. Logan taught CHS’S biology class and taught dual credit too. He was adviser of the Scholar Bowl clTeamub and sponsored Science Alliance Club and was a member of STOM ( Science teachers of Missouri). Mr. Logan enjoyed hiking, saving animals, watching his daughter Lily grow and have fun and save animals. Mr. Logan also participated in Save the Planet activities.

“Mr. Logan loved his daughter Lily and his wife Melissa most of all, and he consistently worked to be available to/for them. He was incredibly generous and would go out of his way to help others. Some notable examples would include giving me an electronic teapot to use in my room because he knew how much I loved tea, coming up with creative/fun ideas for club activities and enrichment, giving college advice and (especially) encouragement to students who were hard on themselves, and offering to do anything to help out when he knew someone needed it. He was so funny with his dry humor and his head tilting when he was lovingly mocking me or laughing with me. He was one of my school “besties,” and I already miss him so much! I am so glad I was able to know him and become a better me because of it.” Mrs Huff says
